We begin your fixed brace journey with a consultation. We assess your teeth and gums, making sure you are suitable for treatment, and explain the treatment process. We ask what you want to change about your smile and let you know how fixed braces can help. We also give you the chance to ask us any questions.
We use high-end digital technology to take detailed images of your mouth, which are used to create your custom-made brackets. When they are ready, we fix the brackets onto the front surface of your teeth using strong dental adhesive. We then place a thin wire through so your teeth can start to move into straighter positions.
We see you for regular appointments during your fixed brace treatment. We check your progress and make adjustments to your braces to ensure everything is on track to the best possible outcome.
When your treatment is complete, we remove your brackets and wire to reveal your new straight smile! To finish, we give you a custom-made retainer so you can keep your teeth straight for the long-term.
